This is my dad, James William Patrick. He died suddenly in 1981 and his big brother Joe in 2002. We share the same gene for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy but I was fortunate to be fitted with a defibrillator. The kindness and compassion they showed in their lives has left a lasting impression on me. My dad never got to meet his grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew, (my nephews), but he'd be very proud of them. For James and Joe, missed by all the family. Love and hugs. Tracy.
